andrei swimming

I can’t exactly put my finger on when it started, but this summer we have been intentional about playing games.  I think it started because now that Andrei is 12 he is a lot of fun to play games with.

Tracy and I started playing cribbage a few times a week.  She has only won about 2 games so far.  It is starting to stress out our marriage, so she better start getting better! 🙂

Andrei has also learned how to play cribbage, but he needs a bit more practice.  Andrei’s big game is skip-bo.  He is a skip-bo punk!  He wins quite a bit no matter how hard Tracy and I try to school him.

Andrei’s other big game is horse.  I still manage to win most of those, but he is getting tough to beat.

The pools have been fantastic.  Nothing beats going for a swim for an hour or so every evening.  Even when its a bit chilly out, we just jump in the truck and drive over to the pool with the land cruiser.  It’s not the most efficient golf cart, but it will have to do.

I am pretty all consumed with wanting to get out of debt.  It is important that I remember to enjoy were I am in life.  I am living a good life and need to remember that always.

The new diet continues to work.  After two weeks none of my pants fit correctly, so that means that I should probably keep on going.  I really do miss cheese tho!

Next week I am heading out for a 10 day vacation.  I am a bit sad we are not taking the RV, but it will be worth it when we get out of debt.  Adding $1200 in gas to our debt load isn’t really wise.

I have determined that I really need to learn how to make money.  I make passive money. I go to a job and I get paid.  I need to learn to create to get paid.

I am working on it.  Draft one of my book is almost done.  I can’t wait to start sharing it with people.  Hopefully it won’t be terrible.  Hopefully before my vacation I can get it all printed out and start the proofing process.  I don’t really know what I am doing yet – how to distribute, or if anyone even wants to read the book, but I am still glad I gave it a whirl.

I have a few more books I would like to attempt to write after this one…
